Great food and friendly service. Never had a bad meal here. Also like to shop around the country store.
Driving home from vacation we stumbled upon Jimmy's, and we sure are glad we did. We walked through the General Store to get to the restaurant, and the store is stocked full of all kinds of homemade deliciousness (jams, jellies, marinades, pickles, pies, etc). I had a cheeseburger and onion rings. Simple and delicious! I saw daily specials, lots of locals, and lots of sweet tea leaving the kichen. A nice find. Quaint, country and inviting. You won't leave hungry!
My friend Doug and I went to Jimmy’s Restaurant for lunch yesterday. They had Chicken Fried Steak and a Greek Hamburger as two of the lunch specials. Having had Chicken Fried Steak there before (and I love it), I decided to order the Greek Burger because I new it had to be a work of art. When my very pleasant waitress delivered my burger it was piled so high with mouth watering ingredients I couldn’t wait to attack it. It was a thick Hamburger, a good potion of Gyro meat, Feta cheese, lettuce, tomato, and tzatziki sauce on both sides of the, better than normal, bun. I bit into it and an unbelievable fusion of flavor filled my mouth. I could say more but trust me, Jimmy’s is a diamond in the rough. Every dish is worth the price charged and the staff is everything you would want them to be, and more! Six Stars
