Angelena's Ristorante Italiano

Had reservation at 6pm and were sat immediately. Started out with a bottle of wine and the deviled eggs. Amazing! We then split a caesar salad, which was a true caesar. We then ordered the rigatoni meatballs and lasagna.... VERY good. Mackenzie, our server, timed everything perfectly. Once finished, we realized it was pouring rain so we sat at the bar for one more glass of wine. Angela, the bartender, was attentive and very informative. We told her we wanted to try the pizza and she told us to come see her on Tuesday's for a pizza and bottle of wine for $25. Oh, and the bus boy, Nate, was such a hard worker! Thanks for an incredible anniversary experience.

We absolutely love Angelena’s! I would call the food modern Italian, sophisticated takes on some classics. My husband had the ravioli and it looked phenomenal (allergies prevented me from trying his 🥲 ) and I had the homemade pasta and meatballs with vodka sauce and it was amazing also. I have a lot of allergies and our server was new, but she was very helpful in trying to figure out what I was able to order. I’m not allergic to gluten, but their menu online shows that most of their items can be made gluten free, including the pizzas and pastas. Appetizers and drinks were also good- i had the limoncello martini. Delicious! OH and the cannolis are made fresh for each order! What a nice surprise after such a good meal, the shells were still warm from being fried. Ugh amazing. They even have a room in the back for private events- which is the whole reason we tried the place. Can’t wait to share this place with our family and friends ❤️

Almost a mentalist for a server knew what we wanted before we did. Great service and I was raised in New Orleans and until tonight it was almost unheard since then to have a manager ask us about out dining experience and was a gracious person to converse with. Excellent all around and we will be back!

I'm being 100% honest when I say that the lasagna tasted exactly like something out of a Chef Boyardee can. It was lukewarm in the middle and the noodles were soggy. My wife had the scallop risotto and it was above average as far as taste and portion size. The cocktails were very good, but we were not impressed with our main courses enough to stay for dessert. I will say that the ambiance was very nice and the staff was attentive. In my opinion, this is not the best Italian restaurant in Pensacola. Look elsewhere if you value taste and authenticity over ambiance and decor.

The best Italian Pensacola has to offer. Amazing pizzas, cocktails, pasta, desserts... I could go on and on. We had the rigatoni with meatballs in vodka sauce that was sublime. The staff was super kind and were beyond diligent. 10/10
