*Update: I went for breakfast one weekend, and it was a very good, affordable breakfast. They do their eggs and French Toast well. I also wholeheartedly recommend getting their French Toast Muffin buttered and grilled, a very good opening appetizer!
This place serves some incredible food! I wholeheartedly recommend the chicken sandwich with bacon and cheddar cheese. It is the most perfect chicken sandwich you will ever eat, better than any fast food place you can name. The breading is a good flavor, texture, and consistency without any weird aftertaste that some pieces of breaded chicken have. I also recommend their BLT - sourdough bread toasted and buttered with romaine lettuce and flavorful tomatoes. For any sandwiches that include bacon, they don't leave it hanging out like most places. So you will get bacon with EVERY bite. Desserts are good, too, especially their moist, warm, and crisp carrot cake. Make sure you bring your appetite when you go!
Let me just say that in the south when you enter a restaurant and notice a few lil ladies adorable enough to be your granny making their way to the kitchen you bet your sweet biscuits you're going to enjoy yourself some fine vittles so grab a seat because this place fills up fast! My wife had the philly cheese steak and she ranted and raved over how amazing it was and it was huge! I ordered the fried mullet with greens and fries and hush puppies. Hands down that was some of the sweetest fish that has ever swam down to my tummy! This place knows a thing or 2 about seafood, sandwiches, and don't even get me started on their amazing desert showcase! The lemon meringue and the chocolate meringue were so devine it had me searching for the nearest church to repent for my over indulgence!
Came for lunch. It felt like a cozy small town restaurant with friendly staff. Good home cooked food. I recommend you stop by if you need a bit and are in the area.
Great local Cafe. Went for breakfast, and it was good portions at a decent price. If you're in the area, definitely go here!
One of my favorite places. The food is always good and the people are always friendly the service is very good.
