My wife and I are here for the first time the other day. I wasn't sure what I wanted, but ended up with the fried fish sandwich of the day. It was cobia, solid white fish option. I added a side of mac and cheese, but could barely eat any of it because of all the food that came with my order. This may offend some people, even family members, but these were the best hush puppies I have ever had. It sounds silly, but I would get 2 orders of hush puppies next time as my meal, they were that good! Keep up the good work and look forward to our next visit when we are in town again soon!
Ate for the first time today at Kingfisher Sandwiches. Servers were very nice. Food was really good. I tried fried oysters and my wife had lump crab sandwich. Both were very good. They have a pastry chef there. She prepares several different items. My wife tried the key lime pie and really enjoyed it. They also have a good variety of items other than seafood. Recommend you give them a try. A pleasant experience.
The blackened mullet and shrimp were delicious. Very generous salad with fresh veggies and a unique house dressing.
Fried oysters were good. Nothing exciting.
Greens were a little too sweet and soupy for my taste.
This is by far the best place to get a quality fish sandwich in all of Pensacola. The fish is consistently cooked perfectly. I always get a blacked fish sandwich with whatever fish is at the top of their list that day and I have always left so stoked and so full. Today they had some house made habañero salsa and it was so good I had to get some to go. They’re the best!
