Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

My Mom and I stopped by here during my visit to Pensacola and I loved it. We do have Popeyes in Colorado, but this location was so much better. The ladies inside treated us like old friends and made me feel happy and welcome. We had a special order and didn't know the best way to order it, but the cashier helped us find exactly what we were looking for. I grew up in Pensacola and I really miss this heart-felt interaction. Also, the food was delicious.

Ordered through the app. It took them 45 minutes to get all my order ready. I waited 10 extra minutes than it should have taken and they weren't even busy. Red beans and rice was disgusting. One scoop of rice and the rest was red bean soup. Chicken was good and fries were fresh.

Going here near peak meal times means you should also expect quite a wait through the drive through. Going inside tends to be quicker. The food tends to be consistent with mistakes on occasion. Some workers really make an effort where many are not professional in how they present themselves nor behave in view of the customer. This too however, is consistent at this location. You just come to expect it if you live locally and like the food. The dining room is generally clean but there are times when no effort is being made to maintain it. If you love Popeyes, you will still visit inspite of all this. This location could bring in a lot more income with the improved management and care.
