Sky's Pizza Pie

As former east coasters, we are always on the lookout for good, New York style pizza and Sky's Pizza comes close for the Pensacola area. I think the pizza we ordered called lasagna pizza - a couple different meats and ricotta cheese (we added pepperoni) and BBQ wings for pick up on a Friday night around 6 pm. The wait was about 20 minutes longer than the 35 minutes we were told but the pizza was very good (not authentic New York style but still very good); wings were good too. As we waited for our order, I noticed lots of families dining in the restaurant - a couple of family birthday parties. There is a bar too and outside seating . The restaurant is located in a strip mall so parking lot is available but it was pretty full when we were there. I had to hang out in the car curbside while my sun ran in for the pizza. We will def go back for dine in.

We found this place on here and based on some recent reviews decided to check it out. They were very busy and clearly understaffed. Our waiter, Christian, apologized for the wait as he was busy with a few other tables before coming to us. It really wasn't long. Their cheese sticks were just okay, the garlic knots were delicious as was our pizza. The place filled up very quickly and we saw MANY carryout orders. We had a wonderful experience and would come again. Christian took great care of us despite the many tables he had.

Always a great meal. All 6 of us enjoyed the food we ordered and the wait staff was very attentive. We are definitely making SKY'S one our go to stops. Shout out to miss Morgan for her service at our table.

Great pizza, meh experience. My pizza was great. Good crust, sauce, cheese. Nice work! We had a party of 8 and that was a bit tough since there were no seating arrangements other than to snag a table when you were able. I imagine they are short staffed. We ended up sitting outside and pulling tables together. This required us to order online and get our own beers and such.

Overall I recommend if you want a great pizza!
