Enjoyed our recent visit to The Point. We had a wonderful experience. Would suggest many things like smoked tuna - dip or sandwich, crab cakes - plate or sandwich, seafood platter with mullet, sweet potato fries and the bushwacker pie. Also, being on a weekend there was live music. Next time we go will try and eat outside on the deck.

I give fair and thorough reviews and I am not impressed easily. If your looking for a small, locally owned, place to eat, I suggest this place. We just left there and had one of the best meals we have ever had on vacation. To start we got the baked oysters on the half shell. Those were absolutely amazing. Then we had the gator tail, which was equally delicious. The salads were next. They were decent sized salads with what tasted like homemade dressing. (Probably wasn’t but it was very good) then we all got the seafood combo platter with various assortments of fish, oysters, soft shell crab, crab cakes and cat fish. The cat fish was the best catfish I have ever ate. EVER! The rest of the food did not fail to impress either. I give this place 9.2 out of 10. The only negative I am giving is the live music was way to loud and we couldn’t hear each other talking and we found it hard to hear our waitress. This place was packed wall to wall with people and the waitress was very attentive to our table and she did an excellent job. Great job!

Food was good as always. Oysters, mullet, gumbo collards etc. Service was really great on a Tuesday afternoon. Wouldn't do justice to her name if I tried to spell it but I know it started with an L. She did well with my 10yr old, picky wife and my 80yr parents. No easy s task and all with a smile. My dad loves coming here when ever he makes it from Tucson.

This place is an amazing local spot. Highly recommend to all you fellow travelers and adventurous souls. Our waitress was outstanding. The alligator bites were breaded and cooked perfectly. My gumbo was on point, lot of gumbo pretenders out here and this place isn't one. Gulf shrimp baskets were fantastic. Will definitely be back multiple this week

Go try this place! Yes, it looks like an old dive bar, but I believe that adds to the charm. The food was absolutely delicious, and probably some of the best we had while visiting. We'll definitely be going back! Don't judge a book by its cover!
