We ordered the molcajete, the piña loca and the pitcher of frozen strawberry margarita. Everything was delicious and the service was fast. I was also very happy to hear how the food is truly authentic since all the cooks are originally from Mexico, no wonder the food tasted so good. 10/10 👏🏼

With all the hype about this place I decided to try it. Place looks great; nicely decorated. I wasn’t impressed with the food though. The tamales are not the best but then again, good tamales is hard to find around here. Definitely wouldn’t order them again. Rice and beans were meh… my son enjoyed his steak tacos. The four small churros were good although I feel they were overpriced. Our waitress was not that great. I found myself wishing we were assigned the waiter that served the table next to us :(
Other than that I do see myself returning to try some of their other dishes.

No Margarita comes close! Seriously, these you can drink back to back and they’re quite pleasant and go down so smooth! We go to other places but end up stopping here on the way home for one of their house Margaritas every time because other places never compare!!! Dave their bartender is great and all of them are awesome. Alex is also an amazing server. I’ve never had a bad experience here! I’ve waited to write a review just in case, but after many visits and exceptional margaritas, the same delicious taste every time, I’ll always come back!

With Avy, we didn't need to ask. It seemed like she was watching our table like a hawk, and she was busy so I highly recommend sitting in her area. She's super friendly, fast, and knowledgeable. The food was good. You can tell that it is Mexican with a twist. Not a fusion restaurant but definitely authenticity with a twist. The biggest and only problem was the grease. The food was good, tasty, hot, and not a standout flavor but certainly good enough to go back for. The problem was the multiple puddles of grease on our plates from the ground beef burritos. You could feel the grease in the meet as you chewed it and there were puddles left on the plate. It's hard to consider that they strained it before serving. Will also mention that both steak tacos were seasoned well but were so chewy that most bites ended in the napkin.
That's it though, for the first experience. Gosh, the Tropical Margarita is on point! I can't forget to mention, that beautiful display. Thank you Margarita Island and don't forget to thank your server, she's making you all look good, she's great!
