For our first time at Port St Joe, this was a good place to stop and eat. The first night we arrived within an hour of them closing but they did not make us feel rushed. Outside seating is spacious and breezy. Our second night was great! The atmosphere is casual with nice clean restrooms and corn hole for entertainment.
This was one of our favorite meals in Port St Joe. The drinks were fun and imaginative and the atmosphere was everything you’re looking for in a fun, beach’s restaurant. We ordered the goat cheese appetizer and thought it was excellent. The coconut shrimp tacos and salad were delicious as well. If you don’t want to wait, I would recommend going for lunch because we were seated immediately.
I ordered the grilled Florida salad with shrimp. Not only was it beautiful but it was fresh and delicious. My partner had grilled snapper with the gouda grits and plantains. He said it was very good. My son had the crab legs with Cajun butter. They were fresh, hot and yummy. I forgot to mention that our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Overall a great dining experience.
We are so glad we finally tried this place. They have an awesome setup with great outdoor dining and pet friendly patio. They also have corn hole out front to play. There’s a bar inside, a few tables inside, and plenty of TVs. We arrived after 7PM and had a small wait because they were understaffed, but that was no problem for us. We sat at a table outside the dining area and then grabbed drinks from the bar and just hung out. Once we were seated our waitress was so friendly, accommodating, and helpful with placing our orders. We ordered fried pickles to start, one of us got shrimp and a side of Gouda cheese grits, another got blackened chicken tacos, and lastly the Mac n cheese burger. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! The food was some of the best we’ve had when visiting the area. Can’t say enough great things about the staff and how awesome they were. Definitely stop in if in the area.
