Pioneer Restaurant

A small restaurant with some great food! I had the sausage and cheese omelet and it was delicious! And the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this place!

Service was great. Food mediocre. And building, was in Great need of remodel. People are friendly. Menu could be much better. Hash browns were literally like McDonald's hash browns. Potatoes were from frozen bag. No fruit or healthier choices. Steak was flavourful. Restrooms were outside. I think with a remodel and menu update, this place could be so much better. So give it a try.

Stopped here on a whim, while passing through town. It was NO mistake! Wow! Down home southern cooking at its finest. Met the owner, she sat and talked to our party the entire time we were there. What a sweet woman. If you're ever in the Zolpho Springs area, make this a must stop place.

When we arrived, we were surprised to see the parking lot full of cars and motorcycles.
Bigger inside than expected. Lots of empty tables. We were greeted pleasantly and seated quickly as well the waitress was quick to take our orders. Breakfast was served quick and well presented. Omelet was a saltier than I am used to probably due to the country ham. Everything tasted good and hot. Waitress kept the coffee cup filled and checked on us several times. Very good
place to eat. Reasonable prices and very friendly.

Awesome little family restaurant. The chicken salad on the salad bar is incredible. Frog legs were fun and good but not that spectacular. The crab cakes made my taste buds dance. Lots of choices on the menu.
