Broad Street Market Restaurant

This is the only place in Brooksville that seems to get fresh seafood right. I have tried something different just about every time I have visited and am yet to dislike anything. I've tried many of the businesses that have occupied this building over the course of the last 9 years and food wise this place is my favorite. They have quite a variety on the menu and for what you get the prices are extremely reasonable. Ask for John he always takes fantastic care of his customers.

We have been a few times and have always had great service and great food. The owner was attentive and accommodating to our specific dietary requirements. Thank you Eric.

We've tried to support every restaurant that has gone in this space. This is the first one that has been packed, when we've been in there. They had plenty of staff to give decent service. My wife got pasta with beef sauce. It was OK, I thought it was OK, not anything special. I had their market salad, with shrimp. The salad was a huge bowl of mostly lettuce, and 5 small shrimp on the side. The "house made" balsamic vinaigrette dressing was not great. Good wine selection, and several good beer selections. We had a better experience our first time, at lunch. Not bad, but could definitely be better. We started at a place around the corner, and left after a drink and appetizer when they only had 1 out of 6 bottled beers listed, 2 out of 5 draft beers listed, and no goat cheese for the first appetizer we ordered....and several of their entrees, on their limited menu, featured goat cheese.

We do try to support the restaurants in downtown Brooksville, but we do need to get some value for the money we spend.

We will go back to Broad Street Market....the other place, may get one more chance.

We had Grouper and it was delicious. Cheesecake for desert was awesome. Our server was excellent. Went on a week night around 5 PM and we didn't have to wait for a table. Happy to have found this place!

Wonderful experience. Shrimp meals were portioned to be filling and were delicious. Fish portion was small but great tasting. Great atmosphere. Attentive wait staff. Will go again.
