Silverthorn Country Club

We had a very enjoyable round of golf at Silverthorn last Saturday 5/14/2022. This definitely an Arnold Palmer golf course and I enjoyed walking in the footsteps of one of the Gods of golf. As per Arnolds philosophy this course has many multiple tee's and each tee location changes the course dramatically. I can definitely tell that this course is a gem.
While the greens were in terrific putting condition it pains me to report on the condition of the rest of the course. The tee boxes were in fair to poor condition, not awful but not great. The fairways are fun but in fair condition with lots of weeds, bald spots and growing patches of bahiagrass. We just move our ball around until we find good grass.
On the positive side they have beautiful clubhouse with restaurant and bar, the service is spectacular, they have a very active league program during the week AND best of all they're not busy on the weekends! You can play a round in less than four hours depending on the bums ahead of you.
All in all, I highly recommend you play here whenever you're near Brooksville.

Nice staff. Now the restaurant was bought out I'm not sure. It's been awhile.

Awesome place. More than worth the price. I'm from out of town. Teamed up with a couple others and had a great time. 1 was a regular and the other was a traveler from Washington state. Thanks for the experience. If I come back down here. This will be my first stop. 👏👏👍👍⛳🏌‍♂️
