“I am a 74 yr. old woman and last night around 11 PM I was having a problem sleeping because of the pain in my knee. I finally got up and went over to your store to get some Motrin. When I went to the counter, I was told that the machine was not working and I could only pay with cash. I did not have any cash. I was beside myself because of the pain and nothing else was open. The pretty black clerk and the older white guy pooled their money and bought the Motrin for me. They were wonderful and I can not thank them enough.”

“Nice place and very friendly people - I really hope they do well. I'll update my review as I try more of their menu, but for now, I've only had their pizza, so consider this a "pizza review" only. The pizza was very good; the crust was perfection and the left-over slices passed the "cold test" the next day. I'm withholding a star only because the cheese to sauce ratio was off (it looked like a white-pizza and as a NY pizza-purest, I need the sauce to come through for it to be perfect). Please note - this could be my fault. I suspect they may have thought I requested "extra" cheese (I was driving when I called in the order and I may have misspoken). It was still really good and I will happily try their pizza again. I will also be trying their dishes. I hope and expect that I'll update with that final star. For now, I do recommend you try Slice of Life Two. Good experience, good food, nice people.”

“Staff was amazing from moment we walked in. I got Cobb Salad hubby got tender meal and we got spicy (not spicy) fried mushrooms. Everything came out really fast and hot delivered to our table. Cobb salad huge had everything on it. I did realize that they forgot to put chicken on top. Manager immediately saw I was bringing it back took care of me had them make brand new salad and personally delivered to make sure I was happy and apologized again. Hubby tender meal very good cole slaw very good (and cold) even brought 2 boxes of leftovers for later. For a new restaurant 5 stars they got it going on. Will definitely be going back.”

“Hate to give this place a raving review, would rather keep it a secret! We go here for the shrimp special so I can't honestly review their other dishes (although the plates being served to other patrons also look tasty) but the shrimp is AMAZING! The live music is usually pretty decent, interactive, and fun, not too loud that you can't still have conversation though.(Bring cash for tip) Staff always friendly and engaging without being too much in your face. If you don't leave full, uplifted, with a smile on your face, it's not PK's fault! Outside eating is also pet friendly!”

“I frequent this place often, mostly for carry out. I like their food, it's always fresh and hot. No canned or mushy vegetables. Good sized portions. It's a clean place with a clean restroom. Usually they are fast at taking and filling my order. Mostly I order by phone and foods hot and ready when I get there. This last visit I didn't call in and they were very busy so I had to wait. They have like cafeteria style tables and chairs and you can eat in there. ???? I recommend it.”
