The Albatross of Sebring

Inside the Country Club of Sebring, I love this place. Go there 2-3 times per week. Abby and her bartender Cara are PHENOMENAL. The wait staff, particularly Jennifer, is absolutely wonderful and very attentive. Beautiful atmosphere with wonderful support staff and the clientele of local folks make for a truly enjoyable place. It's very well appointed bar with reasonably priced mixed drinks and beer. The food items on the bar menu are excellent. They are very tasty and reasonably priced

I wanted so badly to give this place 5 stars but I cannot in good conscience mislead anybody. The items on the main menu are pricey for the area and the inconsistency of food quality shouldn't be ignored. I've tried the $32 NY Strip on two different occasions and while it was prepared as ordered, the meat was tough and stringy. It just wasn't good beef. Tried the $36 filet and it was better but the quality was not significantly better than what I can get at the local Outback for $27. That said, the salmon I tried was excellent. The sides are really good. They recently had a chicken and waffle dinner that was very good. Maybe it's just the beef that is a problem but for those prices, it should never be of poor quality.

Regardless, it's worth going as I am sure you will find it to your liking.

First time at the Albatross tonight. 6 of us for dinner. Absolutely beautiful new renovation.. very impressive! Bartender Kara was fantastic! On point, very much a " people" person and so attentive. Everyone loved their meal. I had the fish and chips (deep fried and perfect. (but i do wish there was a fish option for broiled or baked). The coleslaw was amazing , wished for a bigger portion and twisted fries( there could have been a lot less fries and more coleslaw for my liking) I was offered to sub a different side for the " fries"..( .next time I probably will ,but I wanted to try them) Sebring needed an upscale restaurant and we finally have one! Yay! We will all be back!

The french onion soup and the fish n chips were out of this world. My son had the Rib sandwich and I tried the rib itself. Also amazing. Service was good as well. Absolutely recommend.

Went there with my husband and had an amazing experience!! The Steak was amazing and OMG THE CHEESECAKE (I will let you enjoy it’s perfect taste)!!! We honestly had a beautiful dinner and for once I didn’t feel like I was overdressed!:) The food was so good that it was gone (in a classy manner) within minutes! All the waiters were so amazing! And lastly, the new owner walked around and talked to everyone in such an amazingly welcome way. Truly made us feel special!

Ps. Don’t miss all the art around the restaurant, truly beautiful and authentic.
