Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill

This was my first experience here, and I was excited for BBQ. I had the ribs and the beef brisket. The ribs were pretty good, but the brisket was definitely lacking. It was also very thinly sliced and was drowning in BBQ sauce. I couldn't even taste the meat. We also ordered a few appetizers. Pretzels were good. Nachos meh.

Service was good though. But I doubt it will get in my restaurant rotation when I'm in town.

I did enjoy Smokey Bones while I was in Tampa working at the RV Super Show for America Choice RV in Winter Garden, Fl. Really great BBQ style food. The ambiance was very nice. It was a little pricey but a nice change from the BBQ restaurant that I usually frequent. We have Smokey Bones where I live, I am sorry that I have never tried them until now. Thank you!!

Wow! This place has great food but the drinks weren't to our liking. The Bourbon Blackberry Lemonade was too strong and the Smoked Maple Old Fashioned is in my opinion more of a holiday drink. The appetizer, Pretzel Bones with mustard sauce delicious! For the main course we ordered the meat sampler which included wings, spiced sausage, chicken, ribs & brisket with french fries & roasted peppers served on a mini grill over charcoal. It was delicious! Service was great as well and prices were reasonable. We will be going back soon!

I loved the environment theme and interior design. Very relaxing environment. Although I would have to say the there were messes here and there that needed attention( reasoning for the 4 stars rating.) I had a special order requested as you can see in the picture I posted ( honey mustard wings). The food was good, friendly service. Overall, a good experience.

I’ve been frequenting this establishment for years and could not be more pleased with the bartenders; namely Madison, Ruthie, and Chelsea. They are always in a great mood and very pleasant as well as attentive. They don’t miss a beat when it comes to service and continually exceed my expectations. They are efficient and timely even in the most hectic times. They are the reason I keep coming back, they are worth the trip just to see them.
