G Peppers Grill & Tavern

We usually dine in and have always had good service and the food is always good. So today we decided to order take out, after being rushed on the phone for my order I feel ripped off. After the first order I felt cut short by being asked abruptly "is that all" usually asked in a more receiving matter like "can I get you anything else" not that asking is that all is such a bad thing but I barely got the last word out of my mouth, I said no I have 2 more items as to not be rushed. The banter between what they have and do not have was fine except when I asked for my sandwich to be wrapped in lettuce I was told " we don't do that" but I would think while ordering they wouldn't assume that I knew their menu and maybe ask if I wanted lettuce since i asked? That may signal to me that all I'm getting is the burger, cheese and bacon that I paid extra for. Maybe I should have asked but after continually feeling that I was burdening the person on the phone i felt that I couldn't. I'll know better next time. We will go back someday but for $36 for four burgers and 3 fries and 1 onion rings and a very disappointing looking burger it will be a while.

Looking for a place to have a few beers after a softball tournament and G Peppers was less than a mile from the field. Very friendly staff, beer was cold, nice selection of wine. Settled in and even had a late lunch. Food was good and a nice portion. Very nice local bar and grill. We will be back.

I really like this place for lunch. The interior is a little dated but it's very clean. What I like best is that one can order a sandwich and have it made in an almost infinite amount of different ways, something that is near impossible at a chain restaurant. All the food is fresh and made in house. If you like dessert most certainly order the dessert of the day, they're made by hand by an expert chef.
