My new favorite buffet! If you are in the mood for down home southern food then you are at the right place. I can honestly say that I don't have one negative thing to say about them.

Good down-home Country Buffet, Delicious Fried Chicken, beef tips, fried fish, baked fish, fried shrimp, shepherd's pie, collard greens, homemade mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, cornbread, fully stocked salad bar. With Strawberry Shortcake for dessert, plus a whole bunch of stuff I can't remember. It's very good, with delicious sweet tea included with your meal. I just wish I lived closer to it as I would put it on my regular rotation of favorite places.

Great food. This is an all you care to eat southern style buffet. The fried chicken is so yummy! Lots of things to choose from here. Their breakfast buffet is very good as well. Mary delicious breakfast choices. They even have the great fried chicken on the breakfast buffet! They had make your own strawberry shortcakes. That was so good. I also give them kudos for having so many sugar free choices on the buffet! If you are in the area definitely give them a try!

I have not been to Buddy Freddie's in several years. I thought all the restaurants were closed. My friend suggested going there. The food was good, very tasty. The restaurant itself was a bit dated. The staff was very pleasant. The chicken was very very good. The mashed potatoes were very salty, I don't recommend them. The food bar was clean and appealing. The plates were visibly dated. I might return if I'm in the area.

Lots of comfort food you would see at a buffet. Friendly service kept my drink glass full. Now the bad part...The ceiling badly needs repair, looks as if tiles fell off and no bother to repair. Kind of afraid of ceiling particles falling into my food. Looks horrible too. Desserts are generally a disaster. The soft ice cream out of the machine instantly melts. It was mostly completely melt by the time I got back to my table. Apparently machine needs to be adjusted to keep a firmer consistency so it doesn't melt so quickly. Cake is plastic wrapped which makes the frosting come off and stuck to the wrapper when removing the wrap, then cake is stale anyways. Jello & puddings are room temperature, (not cold like they should be). Other than that food is tasty and well stocked for the most part. Could be hotter though, gets cold quick if you don't scarf it up fast.
