Very good. A good amount of food and the service is great

The reason this restaurant did not receive five stars is because of the hostess and one of our servers. When we arrived, we asked if the sushi bar area was seat yourself at the tables or we need to be seated. The hostess said that we could sit down wherever there was a clean table so we found one near the hostess stand and sushi bar. The servers ignored us for about 30 minutes. Then, a server said someone else was going to take care of us. The other server who came from the hibachi area of the restaurant was extremely polite and apologetic about how long we had to wait. The other server who only refilled our waters was condescending and rude. We do like the server who helped us after her though. She promptly got our order in and it was pretty fast service. The food was great overall, which is why I wish I could give five stars!

The best Japanese cuisine around all of the South Hillsborough area. Huge variety of selections and surpisingly large portions. Extremely quaint atmosphere and all the staff speaks near perfect English. Highly recommend this restaurant to any and all desiring fine Japanese dining.

Nice friendly staff, good food. Sushi is good but really expensive. Sweet tea is also good. Shrimp fried rice is good and you get a plentiful portion. The hibachi is fun but really expensive for such small portions.
