Fred's Market Restaurant

I don't do a lot of reviews on restaurants but I had to share my thoughts here. The food was absolutely amazing. This is the type of soul food my grandmother use to make but better. I was skeptical when I first told about this place because people tend to over hype places like the "Golden" place. I went and every dish item I tried was very good. The bake chicken was well seasoned and not dry at all but juicy. The trout, green beans, and corn casserole were the standout food to me. The cornbread was the type I've not had since I was a child. I'm a veteran so I got a 15% discount and Active Duty Military and First Responders get a higher percentage discount. I highly reccomend this place if you love soul food.

Outstanding, food, service, staff all top notch. The Beef Pot Roast , is a must try, as is the collard greens, catfish and chicken. Huge variety of sides, mashed potatoes, gravy is excellent, norther beans, fried green tomatoes, boiled cabbage to name a few. Very reasonably priced, salad bar with soup, and desert bar also.
If you can't find something here to eat, you aren't hungry or just plain picky.

Awesome! This was our first time visiting Fred's. Everything was clean and service was excellent. We had lunch and everything was amazing. Ribs were cooked to perfection. Great place for good southern food. We will definitely be back.

Our first trip to Fred's was amazing! Even though it was a 30 minute trip for us, it was absolutely worth it. From the friendly host to the best waitress ever!!( Michelle) took great care of us! It was a clean & cute atmosphere. But best of all...the food was soooo good! We will definitely be making that trip again!!

Best food around! Every single thing is delicious and fresh! Always packed, but they get you through fast. Daniel is awesome, always provides excellent service! We bring all of our out of town visitors here, and they've all loved it! Cant say enough good things about this place
