Wendy's has always been my favorite fast food burger restaurant for many years. I typically order the #2 Double Cheeseburger with fries. Never had a burger that was not properly cooked or hot. Fries are typically hot if fresh from the frier. I never dine there during peak hours due to wait times. Overall a good fast food dinning experience.
I went to this location only because of their new mobile app promotion - order any item with their app and get a free half salad. I placed my order, paid for it, and checked in on the app at 5:50 pm. I walked in and patiently waited. 8 minutes passed by and I asked the cashier to check to see if they received my order. She didn't see my order and she spoke to her manager about it. The manager researched the issue and told me that the order had a pick up date for tomorrow. I told her that I didn't touch the date on the app. The receipt on the all even showed today's date and the time I placed the order. She said the app is still being tested, and she then quickly assembled my order of a Jr. Cheeseburger and a chicken avocado salad. I left the restaurant with my order at about 6:05. The salad tasted good and I haven't eaten the cheeseburger yet. Would I return to this location? I probably would because the manager was competent and quick to resolve the issue. I just hope the date issue is fixed when ordering via their mobile app.
