Hunter's Brunch Shack

Had this today and must say was delicious! Hearty portions for the right price. The prices prior were alittle much for portions provided. Had the country fried steak and eggs. So good and will def be back to try more! This is so good to have so close to home. The fountain coke machine made my day ! No more cans ! Unless you want Pepsi, you have the option in a can but coke fountain for the win! Ashley, the waitress, sweet as can be! We'll be back!

Yum! We took our daughter out for breakfast and had an amazing meal. Serving staff is great. Food came out in a timely manner. My choice was the Alafia grits with Shrimp (minus the okra). It was a bowl of grits to remember. Grits, shrimp, tomatoes 🍅 and the secret sauce. My daughter enjoyed her fluffy pancakes. My husband enjoyed the catfish meal. Everything was cooked to perfection. Nice place for a family meal. Great atmosphere. The owner was there greeting customers. Looking forward to their second location - Eats at the Cottage.

I have driven by this place hundreds of times and finally decided to stop in. I walked in and was greeted immediately. I was given the option to sit anywhere I wanted. Upon seating, a server brought me a menu and asked if I was ready to order a drink. Within a minute, another server brought me my drink and welcomed me again and explained that she would be my server. Love the teamwork!!
With this being my first time, I asked what the "favorites" are and I ordered based on the suggestions. The food was amazing....right temperature, right seasoning, right presentation!
It is obvious that the staff does a good job in building relationships with the customers, as many of the patrons were greeted by name.
When it was time to pay, the server gave me the option of paying the bill at my table with card or cash. She explained that she was happy to take care of checking me out instead of me standing at the counter to wait for the next cashier.
So many modern conveniences with a "small-town" feel. In a very busy and hectic community, it's nice to find a place that isn't your chain restaurant that hurriedly feeds you and sends you out the door.

My first visit was today with three other ladies, and we were not disappointed. Will definitely be going again soon as this may be my new favorite place in the area. We arrived around 11:45 and I had planned to order breakfast, but the menu stated they quit serving at 11:30. Lucky for me! I ordered fried catfish and okra, and it was so delicious. Generous portions, reasonable prices, and love the large glasses of iced tea. My lunch mates, who all ordered something different, proclaimed their food to be delicious, too. I can’t wait to try more things as there were many choices. Service was good and food came out hot. Kudos, Hunter!

We live just down the road from this place, we decided to try it and we were not disappointed! There is a good variety of food from breakfast to lunch. Food was very good, and fast. Reasonable prices and our server Ashley was very nice, and attentive. Will definitely be visiting more often!
