“I invited my sister and her husband because we enjoy the homeyness and the food at Beanies and was very disappointed. We arrived yesterday about 4-5. Yes there was a game on but not really that busy so we sat in a back table. And waited and waited. We were not approached once to be offered a menu or even order a drink but at least 4 customers that came in after us got drinks and ordered. I finally got the waitresses attention she had menus in her hand and she started over and stopped to talk for at least 2-3 minutes to a group at the table next to us just to BS (we could hear the conversation). Walked past us and said I'll be with you in a minute. We left very disappointed and hungry and went somewhere else. Very very disappointed! Will find other places to eat.”

“Wow !!! Finally a really good country restaurant. I moved here a year ago & I live in the Apollo Beach area. I drive the extra distance to go to this restaurant, because I love their food. The spaghetti & meatballs are the best I've ever ate, and their breakfasts are always wonderful. The service is always very good, because they are quick to take your odrer & make sure you want for nothing tea, coffee etc. Food is seasoned nicely, not too much or to little, it's nicely balanced. “Went here with my mom( Barbara) So I figured it to be average and that she liked the name. Boy was I wrong! Food is great tasting , American family style , large portions , prices more than fair and staff excellent. Found out she has just about zero turnover in a business that is known for changes. So I met the owner and found out why. Great personality,hard worker, treats her team well and she loves serving others ( and she loves dogs !) Barbara has been to our table every time we've been there. This comfortable home away from home restaurant is worth the stop on your trip. Highly recommend and have been there 5 times in our first week!”
