Shells Seafood Restaurant North Tampa

This is by far the best seafood in downtown Los Angeles. Now the neighborhood is in Skid Row on Central street. But theirs parking and outside sitting. Fresh is their moto for seafood. The wait time and or line depends upon your arrival and time of day also open on Saturdays but crowded.

It's been a very long time since I visited Shell's. It was a pleasant experience because of our waitress. We were at the location across from the University Mall. I can't remember her name. She was a younger Afro American girl with short hair. She was very pleasant, bright and professional. I will visit again as soon as I figure out when they have lobster on the menu again.

Food was decent as was the service. I had the fried fish. It seemed exceptionally greasy with little flavor. Cole slaw was good. My dining companions liked their food as well. I wouldn't do the fried fish again

Jackie was awesome!!! Provided great customer service. Check on us food was hot!! Overall she needs to be a trainer!! Thank you shells for being the last place on earth to provide great customer service!! The shrimp pasta is the best, better than any fancy restaurant.

For as long as I have been a resident of Tampa, Florida I have loved eating at Shell's. I have considered it to be one of my favorite restaurants and when I move it will be missed. I have celebrated birthdays and holidays here with a good meal, and I have never had a disappointment in all of the 10+ years that I have lived in Tampa and the many times I have eaten at different locations. I am so glad that they had a comeback from almost going out of business because their shrimp pasta is by far the best. No other seafood restaurant has anything like it. Their jambalaya is good, and they have shrimp tacos which are good. There are so many good choices. The prices are great and military discount is always honored. I really appreciate this place being a part of my experience growing up in Florida and I will certainly eat at a Shell's on my visits back to Tampa.
