Bruno's Pizza Pie Inc

While visiting the USF area, I decided to hunt this place down based on the reviews. I would say that the pizza was good, but not great. The prices seemed very good, though. The sauce was good not great, the dough/crust was salty and more tough and chewy than I prefer, and the cheese was the type that doesn't really totally melt. The end result was the type that you don't necessarily regret, but not the type that you are in a hurry to repeat. I definitely cannot say that it was bad, though, but next time, I'll search out something else.

It is strictly a TO GO place. Think of it as a Checkers type building, with no outdoor seating whatsoever. You pick it up and take it home, or go to a park, or eat in your car. It's in a rough looking and shady part of town, too.

I've been eating here for years! Even after moving to St. Pete, a trip to Bruno's when I pass through Tampa is a given. Great value, great service and great food. Drive thru is really convenient if you don't want to get out of the car, but the walk up window is just as good.

Great Pizza! I'm from NY (East Harlem & The Bronx) so I can't say that it compared to Pizza in, let's say Brooklyn, like a previous reviewer has said, but it is, for Florida standards, pretty close (it's the water, I think). The easy access is also a big plus (drive through).

High quality pizza with high quality cheese and pepperoni based with a home made pizza sauce. Chicken wings are large, very meat, and sauce is also made from scratch. Now under new management this is by far the best place I’ve eaten at in a long time and it’s extremely affordable even for large families like I have. I highly highly recommend Bruno’s to anyone who wants a true classic pizza and wings.

Surprisingly good pizza. Being new to the area I’m still learning my way around. This location is kind of mind-boggling. Not sure what used to be but it certainly is unique.! Pizza is hot and fresh and ready in minutes. Definitely will buy here again!!
