La Teresita Restaurant

A group of us were in Tampa for business. One was of Cuban heritage. He found this place. They found a set of large tables in a group for us when he spoke with them.
The food was delicious. The service excellent. The price very low. There was even a musician in the next room, but we were busy enjoying our group and didn't really listen to him. I'm glad our friend found this place. We all had a great time.
The only negative was trying to figure out which door in which building to use as we took a taxi and didn't know which direction was west when we got out. They could improve their signage to include a map.

Great food. Stopped by late at night and it was as lively as day with adequate staffing. Large menu and prices are reasonable. Service is quite quick. The place is clean as well. There is a bakery right next door.

La Teresita has a lot going for it. It's delicious, simple Cuban food served up in big portions. You won't wait long to get in or to get your food. They bring in live music which really makes the experience all the more exciting. They're open late and right down the street from the airport, so if you get off a late flight and need a solid dinner, La Teresita is a great choice.

I've been coming to this restaurant since I was a little girl. The food is always great . I just love to hear everyone talking at the same time having a good old time. All nationalities put together in one place I just love it.. this family has been bringing together different nationalities food is universal. Family oriented. I actually knew the family that own the restaurant. I just love going there. It's always a great experience. Teresita will be around for all generations. Five star always

I was super excited about going to Cuba after having eaten here. But in Cuba I have not eaten as well as here; anywhere. (Seafood & Cocktails being the exception) Super Homely Feel about it. Unpretentious, tasty food for a mega fair price. Also the staff is very attentive and polite.
