Tampa Bay Downs

I brought a group of 36 senior age people. We had a buffet lunch that was good. The salad was excellent. After lunch the races began. My group had reserved seats. The seats are theater style. We were in an air conditioned reviewing area. The race card was 10 races. There was a good variety of grass and dirt racing, as well as different lengths. Betting windows were right in the air conditioned room. Staff was welcoming and helpful. It was a delightful way to spend an afternoon.

Great race track, clean and the folks that greet you are very nice. PARKING is the only issue....not much for handicapped parking...they could work on that or offer valet for free for folks with placards. Food and beer selection are good, bar needs a dedicated walk up area.

Such a fun day! Great place to go for the day. This was our first time and we really didn’t know what to expect. We ended up staying all day to bet on all the races.

Amazing time. Everyone is so helpful. Their Cuban sandwich is great. Bets can be as low as $2 and it is exciting to watch your horse win. I have brought many friends to the track and its always a great time. Highly recommend spending a day.

Tampa Bay Downs is a great place for a pleasant day outing. Inside or out your choice. Get close to the horses or enjoy the restaurant. Bet with your head and you won't get hurt and it will make the races exciting. Not into horses, play some poker instead. All in all an enjoyable day out.
