Chicago Paulie's

Let me preface this review with I do not like beef sandwiches in most any form...but I will eat these Italian beef sammies all day long!

Great flavor and I recommend just dumping the broth all over it and eat it that way..forget the dipping, just soak it! Fantastic. We have also had the Chicago dogs, chili dogs and sausage delivered to our office for lunch...all great.

Paulie (yes there is a real Paulie behind the name) is such a nice guy too! Since he gets everything fresh each day...he can sell out...so get it early or get your sad face ready. I stopped by last night for the first time to get dinner to go and he was already closed, but I knocked on the door and we had a great chat he asked my name and shook my hand and was genuinely heartbroken that he was sold out and apologized several times. He is hooking me up today, early and has separated all the items so I can take it home and prepare it, took great detail in telling me how to do it right. I as I walked away, he said "thanks for your support and it was really nice to meet you". Great food, customer service that shows he truly loves the food and it shows! Makes me feel like I made a new friend!

The best food you will get in Tampa. Also pricing is reasonable. A must place to go eat.

It's located next to gas station and nothing about it is fancy. The service was fantastic, conversation entertaining and food was delicious! I've had this place marked on "want to go" places on Google Maps for a while and soooooo very glad we finally tried it out! We'll definitely be coming back!!

This place is certified G. Paul is the man and is a die hard Chicago guy... funny as hell and makes a damn good beef.

If I came in more often I would turn into a beef sandwich.

Chicago approved food. The outside is an assuming and next to, but not inside of, a gas station. It's easy to miss but the food is made to order and good. If the order is big I'd recommend calling ahead. Beverages provided by the gas station next door. Definitely check this place out if you Chicago dogs.
