(February 6, 2019, 2:08 pm)Excellent menu with nightly specials. Specials include sauteed soft shell crabs, clam chowder, rainbow trout and grilled grouper. Food is always good there and you see a lot of the local island folk hanging out. David, the owner, is the best chef in town and a great guy to visit with and get to know. One of the best restaurants in Tampa and it's Down-Town Davis Islands!

(January 12, 2019, 7:53 pm)This place has remained through all the change on Davis Island for the last twenty years, and that tells you a lot! Not super fancy, but a good place to go with family as they have something for everyone. Both my mom and I asked for the recipes for TWO dishes, they were so good, and I've never known her to do that! The brie appetizer is particularly delicious.
