Awesome experience.. the staff was amazing. I am a local DJ and I have to say that the DJ we had knew exactly what to play. I will book it again next year. And one more thing.. the food was soooooo good. I am highly allergic to seafood and they were able to accommodate my needs. Thank you very much.

A large number of coworkers and I went on a cruise for our annual outing. They served a lunch buffet that included chicken, salmon, a Gouda mac and cheese , and some other items. I have to admit that some of the wait staff was not friendly and borderline rude.

On the upper deck, the ship has a DJ and a bar. After lunch, our group and other groups went to the top deck to enjoy the sites and listen to music. Some chose the dance (as always, the electric slide was a hit).

Our cruise toured the bay. While it lasted hours, it was a lot of fun and before we knew the cruise was over. Everyone felt that the time passed by very quickly.

Another knock on the cruise and a complaint by some is that the alcoholic beverages both in the dining area and upstairs were pretty expensive.

Went on a Sunday night for dinner with my parents and wife.

When you first walk up to the dock, they offer to take a professional picture of you and your group ($20 if you like it).
Then you get seated at your table with the option to either converse or roam the outside deck area until dinner is served.

The menu included 3-course meals: You choose between soup or salad, an entree, and dessert.
Firecracker shrimp- not at all spicy as the description intends, and very very small portion (5 shrimps). Also way too pricey...this thing was $12!
Ceasar salad- huge leaves of lettuce with some croutons and cheese- not the best.
Meatloaf- delicious. Comes with mashed potatoes...and (garden veggies which I didn't like- looked cold and not fresh).
Braised pork chop - okay. I didn't have too many bites of this to judge better.
White chocolate bread pudding- delicious
Cheesecake- even better.

After dinner, there's a DJ and dancing up on the top deck- perfect to work off the huge meal you just ate and to let loose with your party while taking in the gorgeous sites of Tampa Bay.

Would I do it again? Probably not because its too expensive.
Would I recommend it to others? Definitely! Such a fun experience!

Made the reservations for company Christmas Party. Was guaranteed the tables at the front of the room but when we were seated we were far from that. You were lucky if you could have a conversation with 2 people near you.
Was told that the parking in front of of Yacht was $2.00 an hour. Never informed we would be charged $25. Never told there would be an event fee for parking. 2 employees unable to walk the distances from the parking lot. Were forced to pay the $25 each. Talked two employees of Starship this morning and was still never informed of changed.
Food was a bit over cooked.
Was told to give a call on Monday to see if anything could be done for us.
Was really looking forward to something different for our Christmas party, will be looking elsewhere for next years. For approximately $2500 + I expected we would have been seated where we guaranteed.????????
