First off, our waitress, Lauren, just phenomenal. So friendly and outgoing, knew what we needed before we even asked. Place is huge, live music, delicious food, and a bar if you just want drinks and aren't interested in the music. Gator and crawfish was delicious. Priced right too and holy cow was the key lime pie ridiculously good. We will be back!
Most of the food we had was fried. With this type of venue, the food really needs to be upscale. Consider the menu and the location of the venue. Seafood should be fresh and presented in an upscale fashion.
We ordered crab stuffed mushrooms. When the extra thick breading was removed , the mushroom stems were intact. To properly prepare stuffed mushrooms, the stems must be REMOVED. this is a rookie mistake and for a club to be In business since the 80’s , should never occur. The venue keeps this restaurant afloat. Very nice outdoor seating.
What a cool place. Very very unique. If you're in to new experiences this place is for you! Great music. Cool people. Fun place.
If you haven’t tried Skippers Smokehouse you are missing out! We love going to concerts here! It has a chill vibe and you can relax in the old school outdoor area while enjoying great food and great music.
Neat place. Has both indoor and outdoor seating. Typical pricing for seafood. We went on a Friday night so we had about a 30 minute wait to be seated, but we were able to order drinks while we waited. The food was pretty good. The staff are all very friendly. The layout seemed a little cramped to maneuver through considering how busy it was. But the lighting was awesome, it gave the place a chill vibe setting. The writings all over was very amusing as well. Not sure I would go during the hot summer hours as it seemed it would be too hot of an environment to be comfortable due to no a/c
