I love finding different vegan places when traveling. This one is a new favorite! Everything was very flavorful! I had the Cuban sandwich and it was delicious. They even have really good desserts. The place is a little confusing to get to because it's part of a convenient store, but people are very friendly in FL so we were able to get to it with no problem. There is limited seating, so it's best to pick up and go somewhere. We were able to find a table and dine in, but when you're in Tampa the weather is usually nice enough to enjoy the meal out somewhere. Forgot to take pics of our food, but got one good pic of my sandwich...half eaten.
Always friendly and helpful counter service at this vegan eatery tucked inside Duckweed Urban Grocery. Small menu but consistent and pretty quick which is good for downtown. Their take on a Cuban is very tasty and the baked goods are always a hit! Pictured are Valentine's Day treats my 4yo daughter picked out for us after a doctor's appointment near TGH.
It's squirreled away in the corner of a store, so we couldn't find it from the street at first. Two tables outside and three little ones inside. Very nice folks running the food counter. The Vegan Philly cheese steak was amazing. I'd order it again in a heartbeat.
If you are looking for vegan food to help transition from meat. This is the place to be. The impossible Philly will keep your mouth guessing. The Farmacy Frisco Melt is the perfect balance for lunch. Don't stop there have their chocolate avocado brownie and banana nut waffles. This place is going to be huge. Enjoy.
Order the Philly with everything. Trust me you'll end up getting two. The take and go lasagna are fantastic and the burgers are great. We drive out about once a month and stack up on some goodies. It's a cute market as well and it brings in a real cute hippie crowd with dogs and young families.
