Mei's World Pizza

My boyfriend and I have passed by this place tons of times separately and together and finally tried it a few months back. So happy we did! The food is to die for. Everything we’ve tried has been delicious. I love dumplings and their pork dumplings are amazing I could eat thousands! But they’re such a popular item and their made to order so sometimes they have them and sometimes they’ll be out. We also have tried the General Tso’s pizza and Kung Pao Chicken pizza and the braised pork pizza. All delectable. The crust is so freaking good. Their chive boxes and chicken wings are amazing and the three cup chicken. We come here all the time and it’s never busy people don’t know what they are kissing. The prices are crazy cheap. Spend $20 for the both of us and feeling full as ever and happy. We come here almost every Sunday, the young waitress is so nice and sweet. The wait time depends what you order. Dumplings take a little bit of time and their fire spicy chicken as well for us so far. But worth the wait.

Me and my daughter love this place!! We are addicted to Mei’s pizza, we can eat THREE slices of pizza each. the Asian food (mostly Taiwan dish) is delicious as well, I have yet to try all of them.

Great pizza. The availability of different toppings makes for a very specified craving every now and again. I like the crisp crust and find the other ingredients to be good, quality products. I don't think I've had a bad meal here.

Went here on a lark, Chinese pizza? Found one of the most authentic Chinese cuisine restaurants in my lifetime. Dishes perfectly cooked and portions so large waitress had chef come to our table to explain our impromptu sampling order was way too much food for 3 adults. Found pork selections not found but for home cooked specialty meals. The $5.00 pizza is Mei's way of helping USF students to stay in budget. Great food and a community contributor. A must try for all.

A bizarre hole in the wall experience, 5 dollar pepperoni pizza is real and it is worth seeing to believe it. The place its self is very odd (at least when I was there) there is some back shed to the building, an almost vaperwave like interior and the (what I believe to be) South Korean soap operas playing on a huge projector with the owners wife sitting front and center watching. I wouldn't say it was uncomfortable but it was an experience that I wont forget, it felt like being the only person in a dead mall, an experience I don't hate but gives an almost last man on earth feeling in my soul.

But what about the pizza? I sense you grudging mumble with an obvious tone that I am annoying you. Well to be honest it was good. Not great, not terrible but dam for 5 dollars its very hard to complain. It had gooey cheese, a healthy amount of pepperoni and the crust had a delectably soft interior and crunchy exterior. The tomato sauce had an almost sweet initial taste yet its consistency often lead to the cheese slipping right off.

Dam for 5 dollars its worth a try at least, worth ordering when you are inebriated and worth it if you like the Floral Shoppe album. I would go back and order it again as they are giving you quite the deal yet I can think of better tasting pizzas.
