    This place is just out of this world!!!! amazing, the food and service were excellent. I’m definitely coming back very soon.

    Valentine eve. Would of given 5 stars but because of a "wanna-be" big shot guy from an 8 top table next to mine with his over-the-top vocals doesn't accept the fact this is NOT his house. A lot of $$$$ & ruined the dining experience for others as well. So much for a nice romantic dinner.
    Although very busy, service was excellent.
    Had Escargot, tender & tastey (one of the best I've ever had. Also had "Rack-of-Lamb for Two". It was exceptionally delicious. Tender and cooked perfect. Needless to say we skip dessert- need I say why?! Will definitely try again.

    I would feel bad leaving any less than five stars, but my experience wasn't what I hoped it would be. I searched online to find the best date night restaurant I could, Donatello came highly recommended. I made reservations, they neglected to mention that they had a huge party that night in the dining room. Very busy, very loud... the owner was a great guy, very accommodating. I asked to be moved to the lounge he said no problem. Our server who was very busy with the party, was a little absent from checking in on us. The food was excellent, just very small portions for the very high prices. Maybe I'm just not a fine dining guy, but I was trying to show a date a great night. $140 later I was still hungry when I got home.

    Awesome service, amazing Italian cuisine. I had the sea bass topped with lobster, it was on the specials menu. The fish is always cooked perfectly in this restaurant. Whenever I order steak, the steak is always cooked perfectly. The owners of this restaurant are always around, which means the food is always going to be very good.

    If you are looking to have some of the best cuisine to Tampa has to offer, this is the spot.

    I've eaten authentic Italian from Maine to Texas and this is without doubt THE BEST food I've experienced this side of the pond. The service is exemplary and the atmosphere is spot on. The food is amazing!!! Found this one by chance and was so glad I did!! Gino, well done sir!!
