Grape Leaf Express

Good is good, but there has been at least 3-4 times that I call to place a pick up order and they leave me on hold for so long that I end up having to hang up. Then I try to call back and the phone line sounds busy. Which means they also never hung up. They either do that on purpose or they just have very poor customer service skills. Either way it’s very rude and I cant believe that this has happened these many times. One time would have been fine but 3-4 times? Come on! And I know if I go there I’m gonna be waiting at least 20-30 mins to order and then to wait for my food to come out. I really have to be in the mood for this food otherwise it’s just not worth the hassle.

Pro: clean, bright restaurant with eye appeal and some (I assume) regional touches. Friendly counter service and food came out in a reasonable time.
Cons: Seemed a bit overpriced, and my platter was overall underseasoned. However, I want to give this place another go.
I did enjoy the idea of a place like this, I know of no other nearby.
This is not my final; I'll try something else on the menu and update.

Always try to hit this spot when in Tampa.. met the owners on my first visit, unbelievably super nice people.

Lotz to eat for the price. Ambiance on point for a small spot. If you like Mediterranean food or want a great experience for your first time out ... this is the place.
