If you like food that reminds you of your youth then this is the place to eat. Service is fast and friendly, food is hot and fresh. Thank you cakes and pies by the owner/manager/baker are moist and delicious. Do yourself a favor and go by there. You can dine in or get carry out, either way you will not be disappointed.

About time Tampa got a real soul food spot! First time there and took my friend for his birthday. Heard about this place when from a coworker so we decided to check it out. Doesn’t look like much from the outside and the parking lot was virtually nonexistent. But inside was nice and staff was friendly. We both ordered the special of chicken and ribs. Came with rice and 2 sides. I got the Mac and cheese and collard greens and candies yams. The rice had gravy on it and was so good! There wasn’t much of a wait but our plates came out and were huge! That’s my kind of place. More bang for your buck. The meat was tender and the bbq sauce was smokey. Also got some banana pudding to go which had real bananas in it. I definitely want to go back! Very happy with this place. Worth a check out.
