Salem’s Fresh Eats - Hillsborough Ave

I've always been a Salem's fan... This branch can have long lines but you get thru pretty timely. The prices have gone up at all of them and then menu looks like lessened items but I normally get the fried ???? regardless, which is always on point...

This place is usually fast & efficient. This last visit was not so. I had to wait 15 minutes after I ordered (no one was ahead of me in the drive-thru line) My order wasn't complete (they forgot to include the fries, the lemon pepper wings were over seasoned making the wings very very salty. I would have returned my order but I live over 25 minutes away & the traffic was heavy. From this point on, I will do a complete check (including sampling the order) before leaving the premises.

I absolutely love this place! I usually have the boneless lemon pepper wings. The steak and cheese is good. And also I recently tried the shrimp rice bowl and I added grilled chicken. Omg so good!

This place we directly across from our Air B&B. After driving across town to a late night restaurant and finding out it was more of a bar/club atmosphere we came back to Salem's. Very tasty. We had the original gyro and 12' Philly steak sandwich. Takes a few minutes to get your food not not horribly long. They have a good range of items to choose from. Great if you have a family who are all wanting to eat different things.
