Great wood fire grilled pizza. Place is very small and is often busy so reservations are recommended. Pizza comes out hot and only takes a few minutes to cook, so you aren't waiting more than 10 minutes to get your order.
What an amazing restaurant. A real triple threat. The food was incredible, the service was top notch, and the price was reasonable. The authenticity of the food blew me away. I'm already looking forward to me next visit.
Wonderful pizza, the crust has the complex flavor profile that can only be produced through a lengthy fermentation process. The tomato sauce is excellent as well. What needs improvement is consistency (pizza occasionally comes out burned when the restaurant handles too many orders) and spotty service (when the place gets so crowded that the waiters misunderstand one’s orders). You will be better off to visit in the off-peak time. Pasta and salads were great, too.
I visited a while back with my boyfriend. Amazing place. Small, but perfect. Great atmosphere. Garlic bread was good like no other I've ever had. The pizza was so good that we finished it in minutes. If you go, you have to try their canoli! Will definitely go back next time I'm in Tampa. Wish I remember our server's name. He was really helpful.
*EDITED after a revisit from my last poor review. So after a long boycott my friend said we should give them another try and be more specific with our request, so I did. I have since been informed their style of pizza is a fork and knife kind of pizza because it's "delicate" in the center..... Meaning less cooked. We sat at the bar where we could see and speak to the gentleman making the pizzas. I let him know that I wanted as well done and as crispy as possible. He feared of burning the outer edges which IS very easy to do at those temps.... And quickly if not paying attention. I let him know that I prefer my toast burnt a little so I am way OK with the pizza edges a little burnt. While the center was still not where I'd prefer it, it was in fact much better than my last visit. The flavors were never in question as they are always very flavorful pizzas. If they can make it this way for me personally every visit, I will be back. Thank you for taking the time to make my pizza more to my liking.
