Rick's on the River

The food was excellent & the service was outstanding. It was a perfect day to sit on the Patio & enjoy the weather. The frozen cocktails were delicious & refreshing. The bottled beer was ice cold. We will be back.

Food is actually really good here. The wings are blackened and terrific. Good oysters as well... the problem is that the music is so loud you can't hear yourself think... conversations are yelled and not spoken... just takes away from how good this place could be...

Visited on Saturday and it was busy but no wait to be seated. They had a live band and the music was ok... The primary reason for the low rating was the service. The wait time for food and drinks was terrible. The waitress was unorganized and struggled to give attention to her tables. We would finish a beer and hope we catch her attention to order another round. After a long wait for an appetizer, which was good, and waiting 15 minutes to get another beer we decided to leave for another establishment. The waitress said the bar and kitchen were backed up but even the waters took 15 minutes to get to the table. Perhaps next time the service will be better.

The name describes the setting perfectly. Great location on the river. Live entertainment was good. Food was good. Setting was spectacular. We sat outside and had a great time. We will be back next time we visit Tampa.
