O'Brien's Irish Pub

My 1st time at this pub. The band Swipe Right was playing (vocalist was amazing). Awesome crowd, crazy busy with a very positive vibe...even the servers were having fun!

One of the best bars in Tampa!! The bartenders and servers treat you like family, the drink prices are inexpensive and an excellent food menu and great bands play on the weekends. A "don't miss" for sure!

O'Brien's is like the bar from Cheers where everyone knows your name. We usually sit at the bar. The bartender, Chris, remembers us every time we go (not all that frequently, once every couple of months). He's very personable, as a bartender should be. He mingles well with everyone. Food at O'Brien's is actually really good. The Reuben is delicious as is the burger. Of course they do a good job with the traditional Irish pub food as well. The fish and chips is delicious. Prices are really good. It does have a darker bar feel, but there is also an outdoor seating space as long as you don't mind the people smoking.

Not super impressed with the food or service. Just randomly picked this restaurant while driving by and decided to grab some food and drinks. Wife was disappointed because they did not bring exactly what she wanted. She ordered a variation of a dinner and they did not bring the correct variation. My shepherd's pie was very good, however the portion was quite small. Instead of a large round bowl like most Irish restaurants this was just a smaller oval sort of side dish. My beer was really good however my wife thought the tea tasted very watery.
