The new location on Tampa Bay is much better then the old location on Columbus Drive. It is more open and appears way more cleaner. The Cuban food was food was fair to good.

This place is a hidden gem! There is no real advertising in the area and it's not much to look at, but the food and service is amazing. Prices are very reasonable. I got a full sized Cuban sandwich for $3.50. My family and a friend (6 people total) ate for under $40.

Truly pleasantly surprised by the delicious food be on friendly service and true Community atmosphere! This is it there for a fundraiser for the Mike Suarez for mayor campaign fundraiser with Senator Bob Graham to support Mike Suarez. The company was as delightful as the food and it is true a community staple! I run a monthly Artisan Market Fest in the channel District in Tampa. Mike Suarez has Sean so much support for Community culture and the Arts taking the time to come out and visit Maven Market Channel District several times and spreading the word the true epitome of supporting the Arts and community!

We went there on a quiet Sunday afternoon. The food was good, but our waitress wasn't very attentive or very friendly. She never checked on us through out our meal. She came to the table to deliver the food and saw my water was empty. She never came back to fill it up. When my husband caught her attention to order another side, both of our water glasses were empty. It was only when she came back with the extra side my husband had to request more water did she fill the glasses up again. The food was very good, except hubby thought his chicken empanada was a little dry. My pork was very flavorful, but saltier than I'm used to. ( Hence the two empty water glasses) Overall we had a nice experience. Will we go back, probably not. Do I recommend it? I recommend you give it a try and form your own opinion. Although I highly highly suggest ordering the sweet plantains. They are some of the best we've ever had so far.

New spot for my Cuban style cooking finally. What a great find. I love that it's clean and spacious dinning. Drove past it one day on our way to another spot to eat both fortunate and unfortunately at the same time when we couldn't get a table at our original destination we were able to eat here.

The food is absolutely awesome. I had the shrimp dish that was great but the portion was too small for the price (7 medium shrimps for $14.99). Every other item on the menu was priced perfectly.

Service was standard. I wish our server spoke more understandable English and had better knowledge of the food and specials (could had been the language barrier).

With this place being closer to home we will be back for sure.
