Don Julio’s Authentic Mexican Cuisine - Tampa Palms

We were a party of nine early Friday night without reservations and were seated right away. It was our first time at Don Julio's. Our server Ramon was extremely professional and had no problem dealing with our large group.
We had appetizers and all nine of us had main courses. Too many to go into but everyone really enjoyed what they had. Our group ranged in age from teenagers to senior citizens. Not always a range easy to please.
A highly rated local restaurant that we look forward to eating at again.

The food is super fresh and tasty. We really enjoyed our meals. Lost a star due to very slow service from our waitress. I understand service staff is very overwhelmed these days but we were one of the only tables in there and she was nowhere to be found. Some of us had spicy dishes and needed refills but had to flag down a different waitress to get what we needed. Not a deal breaker, we will definitely come back bc the food was delicious.

Decor inside very inviting and I had excellent service. Enchiladas both chicken and veggie were excellent with lots of flavor. Chicken fajitas we’re not good at all they lacked flavor and chicken was very dry not moist. Margaritas We’re interesting because normally the margarita on the rocks is usually better than a frozen but in this case it was just the opposite. Go with the frozen margarita. Overall I would give the place another try just would not get the chicken fajitas.

Such a nice cozy spot! Food was fresh! Deserts were mouth watering. First order of chips and salsa is free 💃 Sat outside and had virgin micheladas. Staff was super sweet. Will definitely be back ⭐️ thank you 😊

The best Mexican restaurant in the Tampa Bay area. The interior design and the wall art is absolutely stunning and truly captures Mexican culture perfectly. I full heartedly recommend coming here with family and friends to enjoy the delicious food. The staff here are very kind and check up on your table a good amount. It’s very clean as well. 10/10! 😋😁🌟
