This place was packed (90 min wait for a party of two) on a Thursday evening in February. Luckily someone canceled and we were seated (shout out to the great hostesses who communicated accurately and confidently) within minutes. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The menu is Italian but with contemporary twists.
The food itself was good, but not great. For the gluten-free people out there, they do have gluten-free pasta and pizza!
Great spot for a meal with friends or family. We had a few of the grain bowls and they were excellent! Friendly and quick service for our party of 4+ a toddler. It does get a little loud when it's busy but well worth a visit.
Forbici was a chill spot with a cool vibe, a varied menu and solid staff. I had the impossible meatballs and a ceasar salad and was very happy. My friends have a salad and a pepperoni pizza, and the pizza looked great. Good service overall and a nice experience. Stop by for a full meal or go next door for a slice.
I have now been to Forbici several times and each time the experience is better than the last. The food is always delicious but it's the people that keep me coming back. They staff always make you feel welcome and they greet you with a smile. This is a place I plan on going back to for a long long time.
The wait staff was good. My hot Italian sandwich was very tasty. I also had the kale salad (the Erica?). No taste to the dressing. My husband said the pizza was too chewy. A friend had the spinach Benedict. She enjoyed the taste but the bread the eggs were on was tough. She said her main goal was to keep the eggs and bread on her plate without them sliding off. This may end up being a god place if they improve a few things. Be prepared for a noisy atmosphere.
