Gangchu Chicken & Beer

Fabulous! The chicken wings were amazing; I got them with the Korean dry rub and all the sauces on the side. Every sauce was fantastic; even the sweet ones (which I don't prefer) had an amazing flavor. Staff was friendly and attentive and it was a great experience ... I'll be back for sure.

Ganchu was suggested to us by our friends. It did not disappoint. The place has a great selection drinks that aren't pricey. The Korean food tasted amazing. There are vegan options as well as vegetarian options that can be customized as well. Really nice ambience especially on the outside patio. The food and the drinks were all well made. The food was fresh too and served well. The waiters were very helpful. Will come back for the kimchi fried rice.

The food was delicious and the drinks were great too!!! My only complaint was you have to have a reservation to be seated right away unless you don’t mind the bar and the parking was pretty annoying. The lot is super tiny and the have a dirt lot you can use across the street which isn’t ideal but better than nothing. I’ll definitely be back again with a reservation!

I am giving three stars to the decorations, but I will only give them 1 star to the food. As a neighbor, my husband and I really want to support their business because we saw their building up the whole place and turning into a restaurant. That’s why we came here today on Mother’s Day. However, the food was really disappointing. The wings are wrapped in very thick bread in deep fry. The pan cake was deep fried. We felt that we ate nothing but deep-fried flours. It’s hard for us to say that we enjoyed the food today. I guess this is a good place for bar drinks with finger food. But I don’t think we wanna come back again unless they upgrade the food.

Gangchu is a really unique experience new to the Seminole Heights area and it does not disappoint! They have a good selection of beer but what really stands out is to cocktails. Their creative, unique, and not too pricey! The chicken is wildly good but if that’s not your thing, they also have a strong selection of other Korean delicacies.

The factor that really sets this place apart is the vibe. I had a 9 PM reservation. When we showed up, there was a DJ live mixing music, and the TVs had music videos of the songs synced with the mix. Its was really cool. The lighting, the patio, the decor, it was awesome. The staff and bartenders were extremely friendly. I love this place, and I will be back many, many times.
