Mama's Caribbean Grill

My boyfriend and I ate here a couple of times, I had the spicy jerk chicken sandwich, it was awesome!! The people were friendly, funny and personable. To say the least the are very gay friendly! As a gay couple, we will definitely come back!!

The jerk chicken sandwich was fantastic. Took a couple bites right when I left and will definitely be back. 10/10

Me, my husband, and brother were here visiting family for my 34th Birthday. We are from Vero Beach Fl. On our way heading back home I wanted Caribbean food which is one of my favorites. So I Googled Caribbean food near me and a few places came up, But since this restaurant was closer to us on our way out we stopped here. At first I was skeptical because I wasn't expecting it to be in a gas station. Let me first say we where greeted very nicely by a young lady & a young man. They offered my husband a free sample of jerk wings & of course he fell in love with them lol he's a foodie 😋 so he ordered the Jerk wings, Yellow rice, and Cabbage, and Mt brother got the same. I originally wanted Oxtails but they only have them on Wednesdays & Thursdays so I settled for the fried chicken which was made freshly for me with a side of yellow rice, and Black beans. I ate my food on the way home. Chicken was juicy & seasoned very well, Black beans & rice very tasty🤤 I will definitely be returning when I come back to Tampa. Must I add I know good food when I taste it as I run my own catering business & I am a cook myself. I'm sorry for anyone else who had a bad experience which of course it happens you can't please everybody plus everyone's taste buds are different.
