Mr. Dunderbak's Biergarten and Brewery

Have you ever got a sandwich and hoped it tasted as good as it looks? The Von Bomb is that sandwich. So good, and big. There is no way you can finish it, but you might die trying. Went at lunch, so I couldn't indulge in the delicious looking spirits. Lots of snacks and things to cook and make your favorite Germanic dishes. The Schnitzel is really good and worth a try as well. We could use one of these in Brandon.

Met my wife here after she finished work on Friday night. It was packed inside, but we were given a table immediately. Some people may find a high level of noise to be obnoxious, but I found it to be part of the experience. I truly did feel like I was in a German Biergarten. There was a live musician playing polka music which was loud enough to be heard, but didn’t deafen you (we were sitting next to him, which worries me at first). The musician also lead several group toasts called “Ein Prosit” (I looked it up on Google). The toasts really added to the ambiance, and livened up the evening. The beer selections were all in German, so I didn’t quite understand what I was ordering. Having a flavor profile might be a good idea in the future. But our waiter was more than happy to bring us taste tests, so I was able to sample before making a decision. The food itself is another reason to come here even if you don’t care for drinking and lively atmosphere. I’ve been to a few Authentic German restaurants, and this by far had the best schnitzel I’ve had. I’ll be coming here again, and plan to bring some friends in whenever they visit.

Excellent German food. I love the curry wurst. It’s my favorite. I’ll have to post more later. If you want to good stuff, it’s worth while to stop in and eat, or to take home. At a reasonable price.

Authentic German cuisine at reasonable prices. They took great care of our party of 40+ people with exceptional service. If you are coming with a lot of people, call in advance so they will be prepared. I have been here numerous times and they always take great care of their guests.
