This place is the best! High quality bagels/food, great service, amazingly low/honest prices. It's family owned and beats any franchised bagel establishment by A LOT. Fantastic way to start the day!
It's a small shop with four inside tables. Most seat 3 people but it gets crowded quickly. Because it's a small shop I would be prepared to wait. There were maybe 8 people ahead of me but with bigger orders, call ahead orders etc, I had to wait about 35 minutes for my sandwich. I ordered the Nova Lox Sandwich on an everything bagel with plain cream cheese, tomato, onion, and capers. It was $11.72. I got mine to go. Overall the bagel was really good. Great flavor and texture. Just the right amount of chew. If I could rate this place 3.5 I would, and the only reason I deducted two stars besides the wait time was the fact that it has a pitifully small amount of cream cheese on it. Some bites had zero cream cheese which isn't what I'd expect from any bagel place let alone one with New York in the name.
The food and coffee are excellent and this cute little family-run business is well worth your patronage! The staff are great and if you have to wait to order, it's worth it. The staff make sure to go above and beyond to earn your business. This morning, I got there a bit late and there were very few bagels left on the shelf. They made a fresh batch for me, and though it took a little time, it was WELL worth the wait. Best bagels and breakfast sandwiches in town!
Great little find. We have probably driven by this little plaza a thousand times in the years that we've lived here and finally stopped for breakfast last week. Great bagels super friendly service. Definitely busy on weekend mornings - as a good bagel place should be - but the wait is never horribly long. They have a couple of tables for outdoor seating as well as some inside. Great selection of bagel flavors as well.
I have been here twice and both times I was satisfied by the food. The wait time is a bit of an inconvenience but is worth it. Really enjoy the ‘iced coffee’. A hot coffee poured over iced coffee cubes. The bagels are fresh and delicious and the gourmet cream cheese is soft and flavorful. Wish they had a line for a simple bagel and coffee order. Sometimes have to wait for orders of breakfast sandwiches and other large orders. Nonetheless delicious food, good coffee!
