Christa on the cart is absolutely snagging. Best cart girl ever, by far! We saw her at least 6 times during or round and each time was better than the last. She definitely kept us hydrated, and the round was very affordable. Course was in great shape. 5 stars
Went Sunday and it’s the first course I’ve played since moving down here. This is the best course I’ve played on and was super happy with the people working in the club house. The fairways and greens are well taken care of! This will be my go to course and can’t wait to go back!
Nice course...fun layout, friendly staff, and a good price. Here's the rub. Some of the tee boxes were mostly sand (blue tees). There are a few of greens that look like they're recovering from disease. Something I didn't understand, it may be because the greens are small, when the hole was moved it was only moved a foot. There were a number a greens with old holes (in one case 5) within 2 feet of the current hole. And my pet peeve, on 4 holes there were over hanging trees limiting your shot.
But this all being said, I will definitely give Peeble Creek another play.
The course layout was about the best I've seen since I moved down here about 5 months ago. I settled with 4 stars but would have given the layout 5, the 1 staff member that I met a 5, and the condition of the course maybe a 3-3.5. Most of the tee boxes were pretty good, the fairways were average, there was a lack of any rough (either fairway or woods with nothing in between), and the greens were below average. You could see 20 old pin placements on every hole and there were too many bald spots. Also found it odd that a couple bunkers that I hit had about 1/4 inch of sand with plastic sheeting beneath. How do you play a proper bunker shot with 1/4 inch of sand? Overall, a pretty good experience. The price was right, it is really close to where I live, and I will most definitely be back.
