Salt Shack On The Bay

As with every brand new restaurant, there are a few kinks to be worked out! Kitchen was backed up quickly even though we got there 30 minutes after opening, and the grouper sandwich would have been perfect, had it had some seasoning (salt) on it!
But nothing that a little patience and a salt shaker could not handle!

Over all a beautiful venue, with a wonderful, friendly staff!

Only improvements I would suggest are; umbrellas on the tables that are not in the shade, and perhaps some mister fans for the wait staff? Something to keep them a little less drenched and a little more comfortable in this Tampa heat!

I had a good time here. The staff was very nice and friendly. It is dog friendly if you have a four legged friend. The view can not be beat! The drinks were kinda weak though, especially for the price. I will definitely be back to make try things again since it is so new.

Amazing food and view!! The crab cakes were AMAZING!!! you have to get them. all of the seafood was fresh and full of flavor! For dessert I recommend the rum cake. Perfect atmosphere and amazing food!! Nothing like it in Tampa

This is a great new spot on the water. We had an opportunity to go check it out on family and friends night before being officially opened. This is going to be a fantastic alternative to hula Bay, who has thrived for too long without any real competition. Really happy to see another restaurant and bar step up to the plate. The view was amazing, the food was great, and the layout and design were very inviting. Would definitely recommend the jerk wings to start.

Excellent atmosphere, delicious drinks, and very good food. Some reviews are not fair, they are only officially open today and previous days have been for training to make your experience better come time for the official launch. Highly recommend!
