The Brisket Shoppe

Wish they’re open everyday and have longer business hours lol. So addicting, if I don’t stop myself from getting brisket they’re gonna make me more broke. 😂 The brisket = chef’s kiss; I like the jalapeño cheddar sausage too!! People there are friendly and nice, 101% would recommend. 👌🏻

They gave me free smoked turkey to try, it’s not on their menu yet and it’s good too. Love them!!

Usually I’m on a boat, but every now and then I roll up on land. Today’s land side adventures took us to The Brisket Shoppe.
For those who know me, know I am not afraid to eat and eat well. The Brisket Shoppe did not disappoint. I got the moist brisket and it basically melted in your mouth, with an amazing release of flavors.
The ribs where so on point, that I got and extra rack to go for tomorrow’s boating adventures. You know BBQ and Boats, my life.
The corn salad, the brisket queso, and the beauty in the picture, with her favorite, brisket tacos. All this combined made for an awesome lunch date.
So don’t miss out get by The Brisket Shoppe for some great food.

Been trying to get to the place. Sorry it took me so long. Great brisket and collard greens. Not only was the food out of this world. But the staff was beyond friendly.
They also have cool spices and equipment for sale.
The butcher shop inside is fantastic

Despite what many could consider quirky hours (and days) of operation, the Brisket Shoppe is a jewel in south Tampa. The fact that they have no use for a can opener, a microwave nor a freezer speaks volumes. Freshness: to be sure, but down home flavor abounds as well. Treat yourself to this epic barbeque emporium. Give your taste buds an early birthday present.

My family and I have been in competition BBQ for over 20 years as Pitmasters and now Kansas City Barbecue Society Judges. I can honestly say the Brisket was amazing. Tender and full of flavor. The Nachos were a great addition. The Cheese Sauce for the Nachos was awesome and not your typical Mexican style sauce with a nice sharp finish. Mac and Cheese was to die for. Can't say enough about the Greens. Tender and just enough spice. Sausage was also delicious. Perfect snap from a true natural casing. Danny Hernandez and his team are doing it right. Always fresh. No shortcuts. From the moment you pull in you can smell the goodness going on. Very friendly staff and if you're looking for a Big Green Egg or grill, the prices can't be beat. Looking forward to visiting again soon.
