The Hummingbird Jerk House

I ordered the brown stew fish and being from a family that knows how to cook authentic jamaican dishes, I can truly say the snapper was very fresh and off the bone tender with a wonderful, delicate flavor. So was the rice and peas, cabbage and carrots and plantains were yummy. Everything was delicious! We will be back!

Finally a Jamaican restaurant around the New Tampa area! Delicious, clean, and the staff are very friendly too. They gave me a patty while waiting for my order. I’ll be back for sure!

Had my first meal at this establishment and I have to say great job to the chief to the staff and to the owners for making my experience a favorable and enjoyable one, I had the brown stew chicken and it was amazing "I would have it again tomorrow"????????????????... I recommend The #Hummingbird #Jerk #House to anyone who has a love for great tasting food and also a love for Jamaican flavor and culture, it has excellent reggae music playing in the background and an amazing atmosphere in which to enjoy your meal ????????I could go on but stop by and see for yourself, I know am going back..

Today is my second visit. The food is great. Service great .Very nice clean atmosphere. Bring the whole family and enjoy. I'll be back next week. See you there!

Went for lunch today. Cashier was really nice and friendly. Ordered oxtails w/ rice and peas and macaroni pie. Food was really good. Ox tails were cooked perfect, with enough gravy to go over rice. Plantains were also really good! Will definitely return. Great to have a Jamaican restaurant in our area!
